Valley County Search and Rescue (VCSAR) is seeking new volunteers to strengthen our team. If you have a desire to help others, we need you.




Steps to Become a Member

Becoming a VCSAR member requires completing several important steps to ensure the safety and preparedness of our team. Here’s what’s needed:
  1. VCSAR General Application – Submit the application by email info@valleycountysar.org or mail to VCSAR, PO Box 144, Donnelly, ID 83615-0144. Download the application below. 
  2. Interview, Background Check, and Waiver Submission  – Once we have received your application we will send you a Valley County Sheriff’s Office background check form and release of information waiver. These documents require notirization and the original copies will need to be returned to VCSAR for processing. 
  3. Board and Membership Approval – Final approval is required by both the VCSAR Board of Directors and Membership.
  4. Annual Dues – New members are asked to donate annual dues of $40 to support VCSAR.

Valley County Search And Rescue meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Idaho First Bank, located at 475 Deinhard Lane, McCall, ID 83638. Monthly meetings are open to the public, come check us out!
